This is my story

I was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK, Canada. After attending the University of Saskatchewan, I harbored dreams of becoming a police officer.

However, it seems the universe had other plans for me—I didn't just fail the police entrance test once, but twice! Clearly, my calling was elsewhere, and not even a compass could have pointed me in the direction of law enforcement.

So, I pivoted to a career mainly in sales within the Telecommunications and Agriculture industries.Turns out, the entry requirements were much more my speed, and the financial rewards weren't too shabby either!

I'm an avid hockey player who loves to lace up the skates whenever I'm back in Canada. I adore traveling, warm weather and the beach and am fortunate enough to call Yucatan, Mexico, my part-time home. There's something about the sun and the sea that just feels right to me.

In 2015, I made the bold decision to leave my 9-to-5 career in Canada, sell everything, and relocate to Mexico with two suitcases and zero Spanish. Partnering in a real estate development business with a good friend, After many happy hours in Mexico on the beach finally I got down to business. I taught myself marketing and social media skills and built our brand into what it is today. I firmly believe that a simple life leads to a happier life, and that's exactly what I've found in Mexico. If you ask me now, I'd say failing that police test was one of the best things that ever happened to me—it led me to a life I never could have imagined.
